The film Vazhthugal, directed by Seeman and starring Madhavan and Bhavana, was released with a unique feature. Actress Savitha Reddy, who came for dubbing, mentioned that there was not a single English word used in the film.
While dubbing for Vazhthugal, Savitha shared that she learned the true essence of Tamil pride through this film. "I realized my connection to the Tamil language during this film, especially from director Seeman.
When I arrived for dubbing, the assistant director asked if I wanted to hear the story first. After that, I went to the studio and was given the dialogue paper. After reading it, I asked if I was ready for the take.
Then, a voice from inside said, 'Hello, Selvi Savitha,' and when I turned around, I realized it was Seeman’s voice. The sound engineer then said 'Recording Take,' but instead of saying it in English, he said it in Tamil. This was a big surprise for me.
I was astonished to hear that everyone, including the director and cinematographer, spoke in Tamil. It was here that I truly understood the value of Tamil pride, and Seeman was the reason for this realization."
