Indian Parents Denied Entry to the US: New 2025 Immigration Rules Spark Concern

As per a report by *Mirchi9*, Indian parents visiting their children in the US were refused entry at Newark Airport because they did not hold return tickets. The couple, traveling on B-1/B-2 visitor visas, intended to stay for five months. However, upon their arrival, immigration officials informed them that under the new 2025 regulations, having a return ticket is now a mandatory requirement.

Despite their appeals and explanations, the parents were reportedly sent back to India directly from the airport. This development has left numerous Indian travelers puzzled, as there has been no formal announcement from US authorities regarding this new rule.

The sudden implementation of this regulation has raised concerns among travelers. Immigration officers at the port of entry cited the 2025 rules as the reason for denying the parents' entry.
