IndiGo Launches New Trichy to Jaffna Flight Service Starting March – Easier Travel to Sri Lanka
IndiGo Airlines is launching a new flight service from Trichy to Jaffna starting this March, offering affordable and convenient travel between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. The service aims to benefit travelers heading to Middle Eastern countries with improved connectivity.
IndiGo Airlines is set to launch a new flight service from Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) Airport to Sri Lanka's Jaffna Airport starting this March.
According to the schedule, the flight will depart from Trichy at 12:55 PM and arrive in Jaffna at 1:55 PM. The return flight will leave Jaffna at 2:55 PM and reach Trichy by 3:50 PM.
Good news for travelers:
This new flight service is expected to offer travelers, especially those heading to Middle Eastern countries, an easier and more affordable travel option.
Currently, there are two daily flights operating between Trichy and Colombo. Until now, flights to Jaffna were only available from Chennai. The introduction of this service from Trichy Airport has been welcomed by passengers.
Additionally, it's noteworthy that the Nagapattinam–Jaffna passenger ferry service, which had been suspended, resumed operations last week.
