Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has announced a cash prize of Rs. 1 crore for Indian cricketer Kongidi Trisha.

In the final match of the second Junior Women’s T20 World Cup, the Indian team defeated South Africa for the second time to win the championship title.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a cash prize of Rs. 5 crore for the Indian women's team for winning the championship. Similarly, the title of Player of the Match and Player of the Series was awarded to India’s opening batswoman Kongidi Trisha.
Yesterday, Player of the Match Kongidi Trisha met with Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, where he announced that she would be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1 crore for her exceptional performance.
Furthermore, Telangana player Duruthi Kesari, the team’s head coach Nawazeen, and coach Shalini, who were part of the team, will each receive a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh, as announced by the Chief Minister.
