Mysterious Coded Messages Detected on India-Bangladesh Border via Ham Radio – Security Concerns Rise.

Kolkata: A mysterious exchange of coded messages in Bengali, Urdu, and Arabic has been detected along the India-Bangladesh border in West Bengal between midnight and 3 AM. Ham radio operators uncovered this unusual communication, raising concerns about potential security threats.

With ongoing tensions between India and Bangladesh, this discovery has sparked alarm along the border. Ham radio, a commonly used means of communication in remote areas, has reportedly been employed to exchange encrypted messages, prompting speculation about intelligence activities and security risks.

Bangladesh has recently experienced political turmoil, with Sheikh Hasina stepping down and Muhammad Yunus leading an interim government. Amidst rising hostility, reports suggest Bangladesh is collaborating with Pakistan and China, raising further concerns for India. The latest radio transmissions, suspected to be coded signals, have intensified worries about possible terrorist or espionage activities.

West Bengal Radio Club Secretary Ambarish Nag Biswas confirmed that suspicious radio signals were detected between 1 AM and 3 AM, featuring coded messages in Bengali (with a Bangladeshi accent), Urdu, Arabic, and an unidentified language. When questioned, the individuals transmitting these messages remained silent, heightening suspicions.

This is not the first time such communications have been detected. A similar incident occurred in December last year in North 24 Parganas, leading to alerts being sent to central intelligence and border security forces. As investigations continue, concerns grow over the possible misuse of ham radio for covert operations against India.
