In Return for All the Money
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump addressed the aid given to Ukraine by Europe and the United States. He announced, "We will retrieve the money we allocated."
Discussing the financial aspect, he said, "We gave it in a form that was essentially free, so I want them to give us something in return for all the money we spent."
He remarked, "I will attempt to conclude the war and halt the loss of lives." The US will seek to obtain anything possible from Ukraine, including minerals and oil."
Trump also emphasized that the war affects Europe more than the US and that America should not be the primary nation supporting Ukraine.
